World Mental Health Day

Today (October 10th) is World Mental Health Day.
I lit candles to remember those lost to suicide
and candles to those of us who have survived it,
and those who are fighting to stay alive

Have hope, be aware, take care of yourself, take care of your loved ones.
Educate yourself about mental health, mental health risks, and mental illnesses -
help yourself, help others. There is always hope, there is help and support out there.

Your life can change. Have hope, seek help, help others.
You're worth life, you deserve to be alive no matter how hopeless or worthless you feel.
You have the right to be here, you can get help and you can recover.
Speak out. You're not alone


World Mental Health day is held on 10 October each year.
It is a global mental health education campaign of the World Federation for Mental Health.
It is an opportunity to communicate with the general public about mental health issues.
